Woo! I have a Master's degree in `Computer Integraged Manufacturing (CIM)', and have no idea what does that mean. But this is awesome! I never studied about CRTs in any of my courses -- including the one which was titled CIM.
i know how to answer this. i even know what color sketch pen i should use to draw the cathode rays. and the cathode rays should ideally be in dashed line (not dotted) to maximize your marks...
and vishnu, don't bother. you don't have to necessarily know what is the expansion of CRT. all of the 16 marks is only in the 'attitude' of what you write... ;)

I remember studying this along with Lawrence Cyclotron (அப்ப யார் தான் மொபெட் ஒட்டறது) and Wheatstone network (கோதுமை கல் வலை வேலை) in my 12th standard
