Desi filter-blogs

Between Patrix's announcement about DesiPundit's death and a later one about its rescue, the land of desi filter-blogging attracted several new residents.

Krish and Shivam have put together a group for running BlogBharti.

An anonymous blogger has started Desiblogging, and she (?) has chosen to specialize in highlighting what she calls "wicked" posts from desi bloggers.

Are there any others?

Oh, BTW, I'm now a part of the rescued, revitalized and expanded DesiPundit gang.

There is an aggregator for creative writing with people like Uma on board. It is called as Blogolepsy

    http://blogolepsy.blogspot.com/

More competition is always good. Now such aggregator sites won't just concentrate on blogs supportive of certain political philosophy. They will be all inclusive (ours included).

Hi Krish! Thanks for that 'tip-off'!

I agree with you about 'more is better in blog aggregators'. I already like BlogBharti. Hats off to your entire team for doing a great job!

Thanks for compiling this list and also for helping out on DesiPundit.

I was going to tip you off about Blogolepsy which I ran into yesterday but I guess Krish beat me to it :)

Thanks, Patrix, for your comment. More importantly, millions of thanks for agreeing to revive DesiPundit.

Abi: good to see you in the DP gang.

(Yes, nice of Patrix to have revived it...)

BTW, the Desi Pundit site seems to be down. Your link at your post takes us to an error 404 page...

And the main page of DP is from Oct 20 the most recent post being that of Patrix talking about the revival...

check it out, may be there is some database mess up...

Arunn: Yes, there seems to be a major problem at the DesiPundit host company. The the tech gurus among the DesiPundits are looking into it. We hope to be alive soon.

    @Krish,

I am yet to see a post included in your listing which goes against your philosophies.

    Cheers,
    HP
