    Actually, BUMS entered the list in 2009 as No. 16 of 38 new degrees that were added to the list. Incidentally, the 2009 list includes the previously listed BAMS for Ayurveda, BHMS for Homeopathy and BSMS for, no, you got it wrong, Bachelor of Sridhar Medicine and Surgery (that is how it is at the ugc site http://www.ugc.ac.in/oldpdf/regulations/specificationofDegrees.pdf)
