Flamenco in Madrid

JAP has a great post on a flamenco performance that his Goo-roo took him to in Madrid. He's maha impressed. So impressed, in fact, that he declares:

Flamenco is to salsa as orgasm is to foreplay.

    Long ago, either in thye late 50's or early sixties, I watched flamenco in Madras (Now Chennai) and only on TV since then. The description seems apt. Like many things both belly dancing and flamenco seem to have some Indian influence:
