Watch this interview of HRD Minister Smriti Irani by Rajdeep Sardesai:
* * *
In the (unlikely) event that you haven't seen the two Kill Bill volumes (errr, movies), here's the iconic scene from the first volume.
The responses are articulate, smart and forceful. But vacuous. Sardesai fails big time to grill the minister on substantial issues or expose the gaping holes in her answers.
@Skeptic: I agree with you. The epic ineptitude of both Goswami and Sardesai is the primary reason for the "Kill Bill" feel that the interviews evoke. They just dind't do the homework for their interviews the way Ms. Irani did.
I would like to see her go up against Ravish Kumar. Something tells me she won't after how he led Kiran Bedi to dig her own grave. Also, probably because he is *just* a "regional language" anchor.
