When one says Kota, I recall a wonderful post, titled "five year programme" on an IITB newsgroup by one of the professors. He said he started his B.Tech (he did his B.Tech at IITB) two years after the B.Tech programme was shortened to four years from five, and students felt that it was not good, since they lost one year of good friendship and blah. But now, many students spend one (maybe more) in places like Kota, and so, the five year programme is back!
